New Nokia MeeGo duo tipped for Next Billion

Nokia is reportedly planning a further two MeeGo handsets, following the N9 with a pair of low-end devices that will slot into the company’s Next Billion strategy for developing markets. The news, supposedly shared with them directly from a source in the Next Billion Group itself NetbookNews reports, would come as some relief to MeeGo fans, who had seen Nokia marginalize the platform in its smartphone push out of preference for Windows Phone.
That push has seen Nokia repurpose the aesthetic of the N9 with the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 900, though work on MeeGo itself has quietly continued. Most recently, the company released an update for the N9 – and the developer-focused N950, with its slide-out keyboard – that added video calling and iOS-style folders to the handset.
MeeGo was initially envisaged as Nokia’s escape route from the aging Symbian platform, a collaboration between Nokia – which donated Maemo – and Intel – which donated Moblin – to create an open-source OS suitable for phones, tablets and other electronics. However, development of MeeGo proceeded simply too slowly for Nokia’s liking, and the platform was shelved back in the lab when the Windows Phone deal with Microsoft was inked.
Ironically, it went on to receive pretty much rave reviews – from ourselves included - for its slick interface and straightforward approach to multitasking. Mutterings of a successor have persisted in the intervening months, but Nokia itself did as much as possible to ignore the platform.
What’s interesting about this new rumor is that the target for the new MeeGo devices is said to be low-cost developing markets, where Nokia has been pushing smartphone-style features with its budget Asha range. One of the advantages of the OS is its relatively low specification demands: the N9, for instance, runs a mere 1GHz TI OMAP3630, a chipset that was only bleeding-edge back in mid-2010. Those minimal requirements could allow Nokia to price any new MeeGo devices particularly competitively.

R-SIM 4th Generation To Unlock iPhone 4 Baseband 4.11.08, Release Expected In Coming Weeks

Finally a good news for people who were eagerly waiting for baseband 4.11.08 unlock has arrived. Dev team behind famous R-SIM iPhone 4S unlock are now claiming that their upcoming R-SIM 4 (4th generation) will unlock iOS 5′s baseband 4.11.08. This baseband was introduced with Apple’s major iOS 5 updated which was released publicly in October last year. Not hundreds but thousands of people got their iPhone locked on iOS 5′s baseband. Its been over 5 months and we’ve worked really hard to bring all the related news to you guys, we didn’t see anything coming in the form of hardware or software but this is something promising
Couple of days ago we just gave a little TIP to our readers to stay on iOS 5.0.1 and baseband 4.11.08 because iOS 5.1 brought a new baseband 4.12.01 which is still unlockable. Unfortunately some people updated their devices to Apple’s recently released iOS 5.1 and updated their baseband to 4.12.01. There is no way to downgrade your baseband when Apple’s stops signing a specificfirmware version. Do not follow any guides posted on internet to downgrade your baseband because Apple has stopped signing iOS 5.0.1 which means you cannot go back to baseband 4.11.08.
Let me give you a little background summary of dev team working on this unlock solution. R-SIM was the first unlocking solution released for iPhone 4S and everyone else followed the suit and released other versions of iPhone 4S unlock in the form of TP-SIM, Gevey Ultra S and others. Developers behind R-SIM were also the first one to release Sprint and Verizon iPhone 4S unlock and later they released 3rd generation of their interposer SIM which supported all iPhone 4S’ new iOS 5.1 baseband 2.0.10. So technically they’re sound and legit as well. There’s no question about the authenticity of Each Supplier or R-SIM because they’ve always delivered and I gave you some example above.
Availability and Pricing:
According to folks over Each Supplier R-SIM 4 which would unlock your iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08 will be available in next 10-15 days. But don’t forget that there can be can technical delays which I believe we can afford. The price of this solution is quite moderate, one SIM would cost you $60 and you can order it directly from Each Supplier once it’s available for orders. Just head over to this linkand bookmark it so that you don’t forget to check back.

Amazing New iPhone 5 Concept Shows What Apple Can Do! (Pictures)

It goes without saying that iPhone 5 is the most awaited product of all time! last year when Apple held it’s “Lets talk iPhone” event, people were super excited to see what Apple has to offer in the new iteration of the iPhone but to many’s disappointment, the design was almost similar to the iPhone. But that doesn’t let concept artists stop from creating masterpiece, so we have an amazing iPhone 5 concept pictures here.
AR Studios have created another amazing concept for the iPhone 5 and this time they are simply calling it the “New iPhone”. Something derived from the new iPad I guess.
This new iPhone 5 is SIM-Less meaning it does not require SIM card from mobile operators, something that had been discussed previously by Apple but could not materialize due to AT&T and other mobile networks opposing the idea.
To get mobile data this new iPhone 5 directly gets from the mobile network and also would be compatible with 4G LTE networks.
We know how much Apple loves to brag about the retina display. It first introduced it with the iPhone 4 and has spread to the third generation iPad 3. So keeping with the tradition the new iPhone 5 has a retina display but this time it does not have one, not two but three retina displays!
Not sure how Apple is going to manage that though.
The new iPhone or simply iPhone 5 has Siri built in to it, 4-axis gyroscope, motion sensors and all other “cool” stuff.
So folks what do you think about this new iPhone 5 concept, is it the best so far or you have seen better? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nokia’s Redesigned Windows Phone UI Accessible [SHOTS]

Nokia has been adopting Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform as its main operating system for smartphones. One of the benefits of this adoption is that Nokia has been able to tweak the UI as it considered it fit.

The first Windows Phone devices come with the same OS appearance as all the other devices do, but things might have been different. Or they could change moving forth, as the concept UI images embedded below show.

It seems that Nokia’s vision of Windows Phone’s UI is showcased in those images, at least this is what a recent article on Pocketnow states. The shots come from one of Nokia R&D's senior graphic designers who now works for Accenture.

Nokia had the freedom to modify the UI as it pleased, it did confirm before that. But it still remains to be seen whether it will apply any of the ideas that can be seen below.

The Samsung Galaxy S III

Well well well, the picture after the jump shows up the most popular smartphone Samsung Galaxy S III in a rather convincing press shot, hit to continue after the jump and do let us know if you see this is Samsung Galaxy S III?

The Samsung Galaxy S III

Sure Samsung keeping the Samsung Galaxy S III under it’s cover for the time being, and that hasn’t stopped supposed press pictures leaking everywhere.

This new image has popped up courtesy of a Reddit user who uploaded it recently. The image itself shows what appears to be Samsung’s new flagship Android smartphone, with the suggestion that it will be announced during a Samsung Unpacked event in London, England on May 22nd. Bear in mind that Samsung has said in the past that it will only announce the handset when it is almost ready for retail, and with that rumored to be some time in June, the dates being to match up quite nicely.
For its part, the Galaxy S III itself, assuming that’s what it is, looks absolutely gorgeous. We spy a dedicated camera button, edge-to-edge glass and a front speaker grill. The device pictures is the white model, and we have to say it looks lovely, even with that grey/black border that we see in the press image.
Samsung has been unusually coy over its latest handset. After receiving flak for the delay between announcement and US release of the Galaxy S II, Samsung is preferring to take the Apple approach of only announcing the product when it is ready to ship en-mass. This has led to an unusual vacuum of information, and one which has been filled by rumor after rumor. What we do know is that the Samsing Galaxy S III is likely to be one hell of a smartphone.

Buy iPhone 4S Now or Wait for The iPhone 5 ?

Buy iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S
To buy the current iPhone 4S now or to wait for the iPhone 5 – is not an easy question, what is your answer ? The new iPad is released, whether soon we can expect a new iPhone?

Because no one wants to be a loser, who got an old version of the iPhone gadget for a week or month before the release of the new iPhone 5 model.

Publication of CNET user response to the question, who recently lost his iPhone 3GS and asked him to buy a iPhone 4S, or wait until the next version of the smartphone. This is an issue, because we really do not know when Apple will present a new device. We also don’t know for sure what innovations will appear in this gadget responds Margurite Riden.

If you're willing to use a temporary device for several months, then wait. But honestly, you should have no regrets if you buy the iPhone 4S (except financial loss at resale and the purchase of new versions). Even if we do not exactly know what innovations are in the new phone, we have a few suggestions.

Last week, Apple presented the third generation of the iPad tablet, which can tell us what to expect from the iPhone 5. Based on what we saw in the new iPad, don’t think that the "five" is a revolutionary product. It is expected that Apple will make improvements in the product, just as she did with the iPhone 4.

The most significant change that Apple could make on the design - is the size of the screen. Since the start of production of smartphones, the company maintained a screen size of 3.5 inches. Many claim that they like this size because it fits easily in your hand or pocket.

Buy iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S

Between the screen sizes of top smartphones in the market - increased to 4.3 inches or more. Of course, we do not claim that Apple will change the screen size just to watch the competition. But at the time, as more people use mobile devices for viewing videos or playing games, there must be a market for larger screens.

If it does, then we can expect that the company will increase as the screen resolution. A stunning Retina display on iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S already has a resolution of 960 × 640 pixels. But with the latest iPad Apple has proven that it costs nothing to "push" the boundaries.

Another significant improvement in the iPhone 5 may be to support networks of the fourth generation LTE. This allows the tube to work with the new connection speed 12 MB / s. And, unlike other 4G-devaysov on the market, Apple promises that the new iPad's battery life will last for 9 hours. This is good news for potential iPhone 5 with LTE.

So, if you do not really want Apple-screen smartphone even larger, or you desperately need technology LTE, you probably will be very happy with your iPhone 4S, even after the company willintroduce the iPhone 5.
