Apple Planning a Media Event in New York by the End of January

AllthingsD, the well-known weblog reported that Apple is planning for a media event at the end of this month. This media event will be held in the New York and this event won't on a large-scale.

As posted on AllthingsD:
That leaves some kind of advertising or even publishing announcement, which might be the case, since Apple SVP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue is reportedly involved.

Cue is in charge of a large swath of Apple’s media units, including the iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, as well as iAd and its iCloud services.
Many of you must be thinking that Apple is probably going to announce a new product. iPad 3 is expected to be released in this year 2012. But from the source, iPad 3 will not be released in this event. We have already posted that iPad 3 may be released on Steve Jobs Birthday in February on in March. But there are no clues about the release of this device in this event.

The other popular news which has been rumored is the release of Apple TV. There have been many news on release of Apple’s TV in three different sizes. Apple TV is expected to be released in June. However, it will not be announced in this media event.
